30. The most common addiction in the world is the draw of comfort. It wrecks dreams and breaks people.
If we could learn to deny ourselves a little comfort once and a while, we’d all be skinny, rich and (probably) happy.

Thanks for the shout-out Douglas.
I’ve gotten a lot of response from this article, and I always find it so interesting to see which ones each person finds to be the most meaningful to them.
Number 30 is one of my favorites too. Whenever I find myself indulging in comfort, I’m often betraying myself by giving up something more important.
