Many people throughout our world are in some way addicted to one thing or another. Some of us are addicted to drugs and then those that are addicted to alcohol or both.
As we all know, both of these addictions are very serious and must be confronted with in a timely fashion before they really get out of hand. When we start abusing these substances on a daily basis it them becomes a big problem, and the problem is now being addicted to them.
Once starting as a good old time partying and living high or buzzed on life leads to a unfortunate addiction which is now so hard to get out of, do to our demons taken over our bodies and our lives.I was in the same situation once in my life and I can honestly say that Being Addicted to Drugs And Alcohol Is Like Knockin on Heavens Door!
We the addicts always think about giving up alcohol and drugs but we just don’t have the willpower or the strength to call it quits and surrender.
We don’t even realize that we are effecting other people in our lives by being addicted.
We want deep down inside to quit drinking alcohol and start a new life but, we don’t know where to begin to start to change our lives for the better.
Some of us are embarrassed to ask for help because we don’t want certain people in our lives to know just how addicted we really are. So, we keep quite and just continue on destroying our lives and feeding our demons more fuel so that they may survive.
If someone has an addiction of any kind, you should really take time to look up into the heavens and say to yourself, “do I really want to be up there earlier then God wants me to?”
Think about it, and I am sure your answer will be Heck NO!
If that’s your answer then good for you because you have just taken a step in a positive direction and now the next step is to conquer and surrender to your demons.
Start off first and foremost with a Positive Attitude because without that you will indeed have a difficult time in your journey to Sobriety and your road to recovery.
If you really want something bad enough in life you first have to want it and work hard for it, because it’s not going to just fall into your lap without and effort on your part.
So, go for it, and think positive and you will stay here on earth for a lot more years to come and sober at that.
