Audio Self Help Is A Great Alternative

The self help movement has really been a great help in my life but I can’t always read the books I would like to due to time constraints, that’s where audio self help comes in. Being able to listen to books on tape is an enormous help. I still read a great deal but there are so many other books I have been able to experience because they were in audio format.
For many people they just don’t want to read that much, for others they would like to read but they just don’t have the time.
You get the opportunity to listen to the books you can’t read. The reason I love to listen to the exotic wisdom found in audio books so much is that it’s a great deal more positive than listening to the news which seems to only talk about death and mayhem.Some good places to find audio self help.
The library
The library is my absolute favorite for this format primarily because it’s free. Often times I want to listen to a book only once, which means if it wasn’t for the library I would never hear it. I don’t want to pay twenty or thirty dollars for something I will only listen to once. The library has a pretty good selection as well, depending of course on the area you live in. Usually the larger the library the greater the selection and often the more variety you get as well.
Used book stores
There are great deals on used audio books. The markup on audio is often pretty high and most of that markup is gone when you buy used. The selection varies quite a bit depending on which store you are at, and even each stores selections vary quite often.
Garage sales
Possibly the cheapest of all the paid options, the garage sale is a wonderful place to get great deals on audio books. Obviously you don’t get a very good selection but at such great prices you can’t complain.
Reading is so important and most people give up on it after school which is a tragedy. Perhaps if you are into self-help but you don’t like to read much, then you might try audio self help.
