Conscious Creation? An Introduction To Using The Law Of Attraction

The law of attraction is the most powerful and effective forces in our universe.
I first learned about this concept after watching The Secret in 2006. It seems that every personal development site on the internet has to have an obligatory section on the application of the law of attraction.
I am doing a series of articles on the law of attraction, not out of a feeling of obligation, but because of the profound impact it has had on my life.
My life was a wreck and I the law of attraction identified me as the cause. As I applied the law of attraction to my life, I changed my thinking and positive changes in my physical world began to manifest.
What Is The Law Of Attraction?
The simplest definition of this law is “like attracts like.” Whatever you think about becomes reality. If you believe you are going to fail, you will fail. If you believe that it is difficult to acquire love, health or a relationship, it will be difficult. Other people have used phrases like:
-
Thoughts are things
-
You get what you think about, whether you want it or not.
-
Energy is attracted to that which is of a like vibration.
-
Thoughts are energy.
-
As a man thinketh, so is he.
-
Energy attracts like energy
Wallace Wattles, author of the Science of Getting Rich, put it succinctly:
THERE is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.
A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.
Man can form things in his thought, and by impressing his thought upon formless substance can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.
Law Of Attraction: Thoughts Are Energy
Einstein’s equation E=MC2 demonstrates that energy and mass are convertible.
Everything in the universe is composed of energy – even if it appears to be solid. You, and the chair you are sitting in, are not really solid. Both you, and the chair, are made up of trillions of atoms with electrons, protons and neutrons circling about.
Every energy form, solid or otherwise, has a unique frequency or vibration. You can shatter a solid glass if you cause it to vibrate at a certain frequency. You can use microwaves to cook food by causing the water molecules in the food to vibrate at a certain frequency.
Thoughts, as energy, affect the physical world in the same or similar way as sound shatters glass or microwaves cook food.
Everyone creates his/her physical universe by thought.
Thoughts are powerful indeed.
…..and this is the basis for what we call the
Law of Attraction
Law Of Attraction: Emotions Amplify Our Thought Energy
We know that thoughts are also energy because we are able to measure them with electronic equipment. We can measure brain waves activity that changes as a person slips into a meditative or hypnotic state. We can see areas of the brain change color as the person changes the content of his or her thoughts.
We also know that powerful emotions tend to amplify these brain waves when we measure them.
Each thought has a unique frequency which is amplified by strong emotions toward or against the circumstance made the basis of the thought.
As we continue to think, dream, or dwell on a topic, you impart that vibrational energy upon your surroundings and the universe in general. As a result, you draw circumstances into your reality that match to the thought waves you are generating.
The more we dwell on the topic, with great emotion, the faster it is drawn to us. Positive thoughts generate positive emotion and draw positive life experience, negative thoughts generate negative emotion and draw negative life experience.
This is what creates the concept of spiraling.
As we begin to think negative thoughts, we draw negative circumstances into our reality. This causes us to become depressed and think additional negative thoughts……and the cycle repeats itself as our life spirals downward and out of control.
The key to using the law of attraction as a force multiplier is to consciously focus upon what you want with emotion.
But What About Probability And Other Natural Laws?
Probability is the result of the application of other natural laws on reality. Through the application of other natural laws, probabilities can be changed dramatically. Here are two examples:
At a point of stasis, a solid glass is 100% capable of holding a measure of water. However, take that same glass, use the laws of physics to apply sound waves of a precise frequency to the glass and the probability of that glass remaining intact drops to zero as the glass violently explodes into many pieces.
Because gravity causes a bullet to fall at a precise rate over a given distance, there is a 100% probability that the untrained marksman will miss his mark at a certain distance. However, a sniper, trained in the laws of mathematics and trigonometry can manipulate the trajectory of the bullet, using gravity, and kill a man at 1000 yards with statistical certainty.
In much the same way, we use the law of attraction to influence or alter the probabilities that naturally exist by imposing the vibrational energy of our thoughts on the unverse.
Conscious Creation: Using The Law Of Attraction For Personal Benefit
Conscious creation can influence probabilities and other natural laws.
Like gravity, the law of attraction is at work whether we are aware of it or not. When we consciously control our thoughts to manipulate the law of attraction for our benefit, we call this “conscious creation.” In its simplest form, we consciously create whenever we positively focus, with great emotion, on that which we want to manifest within our lives.
But make no mistake, the law of attraction is still at work when we fail to guard our thoughts and allow ourselves to focus upon negative possibilities. Victimization, bad luck, or chance, are each the result of unchecked law of attraction acting to create a reality that is in synch with our negative or untrained focus.
Visualization: The Key To Manipulating The Law Of Attraction
One of the best ways to control your thoughts so that the law of attraction works for, and not against you, is to use visualization techniques. I will discuss many of these techniques in other articles. But, for now, I will give you an overview of how to use this technique to your benefit.
The human mind reacts the same way to real observations as well as imagined observations. If I ask you to imagine that you are in a fight, you will find your heart begin to race and perhaps you will begin to perspire. You will feel a rush of adrenaline, anxiety and even fear. If I ask you to imagine your dream home, you will manifest similar feelings of joy, happiness and contentment.
These feelings, good or bad, are real and cause real changes to your physiology even if the observations are merely thoughts.
The universe reacts the same way to your thoughts.
The car that you see and drive is made up of vibrating energy. The car that you dream of owning is also made up of vibrating energy. As a result, effective visualization is one of the primary tools for conscious creation.
We can change our reality by practicing visualization techniques that allow us to imagine what is wanted and, more importantly, the positive feelings that are associated with what is wanted. Common tools to assist in visualization include meditation, vision boards, vision books, photographs and gratitude journals.
All of these tools help the user to focus, with emotion, upon what they want to manifest in their lives.
Whether we want it or not, the law of attraction is an immutable law of nature that is at work within our life. Just as gravity can be a burden or a beast, we can use the law of attraction to create positive change in our life.
