Law Of Attraction: Create Effective Positive Affirmations To Manifest Abundance (Part Four)
Posted by Douglas Manning in Visualization, goal setting, law of attraction, life purpose, positive affirmationsThis is Part Four of a five part series entitled The Secret Law Of Attraction: A Complete Guide To Manifesting Abundance.
In Part One, I led you through a series of exercises to develop the elements needed to put together your conscious creation program. In Part Two, I taught you how to create an inspiring gratitude journal. In Part Three, I taught you how to create an use a multitude of effective visualization aids.
In Part Four, I will discuss a simple technique to effectively incorporate the use of positive affirmations into your daily routine.
To recap, you should have created:
- Concise statement of life purpose
- List of 15 to 20 positive affirmations
- Several paragraphs, each of which should paint a word picture of you living one of you chosen goals.
Now, we are ready to create the third of our law of attraction tools, effective positive affirmation tools. You should place your positive affirmations in your journal, in your visualization aids and in the form of flashcards.
Read more to learn how to use each of these effective methods.
Positive Affirmations Should Be Written In Your Journal
I have written all of my positive affirmations in my gratitude journal. As I go through my journal each day, I read each of these affirmations aloud while dwelling on the positive emotions that the affirmations create inside me.
I can access my positive affirmations in my journal even while I am traveling.
Positive Affirmations Should Be Incorporated Into Your Visualization Tools
In addition to my journal, I have my positive affirmations (actually abbreviated forms of them) incorporated into my screensaver and electronic picture frame.
In order to do this, I opened my photo editing software and used the text function to type each affirmation. I then saved the file as a .JPEG. The computer treats the file like any other photograph and displays it along with the pictures that represent my goals. It flashes randomly along the screen throughout the day.
You can also print and frame your affirmations in order to display them throughout your office, home or workspace.
Create Positive Affirmation Flash Cards
One of my favorite ways to review my daily affirmation is through the use of positive affirmation (or law of attraction) flashcards. These are small cards that I created that have positive affirmations printed on both sides of the cards.
I have a total of twenty affirmations printed on ten business size cards. I carry these in my wallet or shirt pocket and review them in my spare time.
You can make them yourself very inexpensively.
Go to any office supply store and purchase a packet of perforated business card sheets. These are the sheets used to make business cards. You will find Microsoft Word templates online that correspond to the code on the card package. Download and open the template. You will find that the downloaded file is essentially a table that has been set up to center the text in the middle of each business card.
Simply type ten of your affirmations in the space provided and print. Adjust the font size accordingly to fit one affirmation on each card. Print out the cards.
You now have a set of ten positive affirmation flash cards
DO NOT PERFORATE THE BUSINESS CARDS YET!!!
Now, reinsert the sheet into your printer so that you can now print on the opposite side of the sheet. Type the remaining ten affirmations and print.
You now should have a sheet with ten business cards and an affirmation printed on both sides of each card.
Carefully perforate the cards and stack neatly.
To use, you simply read each card, flip the stack and read the other side of each card. When you have completed your review, place the cards in your wallet, purse of shirt pocket. As the cards wear out, or your goals change, simply print new ones.
I love using these flashcards and carry mine with me everywhere I go.
What About Subliminal Software For Positive Affirmations?
First of all, I believe in subliminal software. I used subliminal tapes in the past. The new subliminal cds and software are far more advanced than the cassette tapes I used many years ago.
I do not have any experience with any of the many subliminal products offered for sale on the internet with one exception.
I do use a product called Holosync to assist me in my meditation (see Part Five). Centerpointe, the maker of Holosync, affords the user the opportunity to place five minutes of subliminal affirmations on the CD before it is created.
So, I am receiving subliminal affirmations while I am meditating.
If you are interested in Holosync, here is a Holosync Meditation Review.
I will be talking more about the importance of meditations and how to use traditional meditation techniques in Part Five.
Positive Affirmations Are An Essential Part Of Any Conscious Creation Program
Early law of attraction writers such as Wallace Wattles and Napoleon Hill advocated the frequent practicing of positive affirmations as the main way to manifest abundance in life.
I believe positive affirmations are an important tool in the arsenal of the conscious creator.
Use positive affirmations in your journal, in your visual aids and as flashcards and you will see the effectiveness of this simple law of attraction tool.
