God – The Secret Law of Attraction And The Bible?

I ran across this question recently:

I have questions about how come “The Secret” is so easy for us to understand how to get what we want in life, but for God loves us so much, why he didn’t show this in Bible to make our life easier?

If he did mention about Law of Attraction, would you please tell me which verses?

This question is only for the God believers who think “The Secret” has been working for them. Please don’t answer if you don’t know what “The Secret” is.

Dear Ken:

First of all, I am a Christian. So, let’s get that out of the way. I am also a LOA (Law of Attraction) practitioner. God did tell us about the Law of Attraction in the Bible – we just didn’t listen.

The basis of the law of attraction, in The Secret, is the concept of:

ASK – BELIEVE – RECEIVE

While many faiths echo the essential tenets of this formula, the Jesus, The Christ makes it clear in Mark 11:24:

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Many of the best Bible Believing Christians have not dared to ever step out, in faith, and take the Christ at His word. They mysteriously have the faith to believe that Jesus can grant them eternal life; but, their finances…..well that is another thing entirely. NO! NO! NO!

The Secret Law Of Attraction Answers Many Theological Questions

Many Christians find themselves drawn to the LOA because (1) it answers a lot of questions; and, (2) confirms their sneaking suspicions about the nature of God. Let’s explore both of these concepts further:

Christians find themselves plagued with such questions as: (1) why do “wicked” people prosper and “righteous” people suffer? (2) why do I tithe and live “hand to mouth” while the operator of the strip club down the street lives in financial abundance?

The simplest answer to these questions is derived by the principles of the law of attraction. The answer is:

BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE THEY CAN !!!

The “wicked” strip club owner walks in financial abundance because he believes that he can do so. While the Christian is plagued with such self sabotaging beliefs as: (1) I have not been “good” enough; (2) I did not tithe enough; (3) money is evil; or, (4) I do not “need” more than those around me.

God created this world in such a way that it gives (or fails to give) whatever you believe or believe that you cannot have).

The Secret Law Of Attraction And World Of Warcraft

Fellow Christians, money is a medium of exchange that is provided for our use to fulfill our life purpose, our hopes and dreams on this earth.

For example, in World of Warcraft, people (represented as avatars) earn money to buy weapons, “spells” and items to make their gaming experience more fun and fulfilling. The creators of the game want money to be relatively easy to come by so that the players can continue to evolve their avatar and make the game and community more and more interesting and fun for all.

It works the same way in life.

God Is The Programmer And We Are Avatars In The Game Of Life

God is the programmer of our reality.

Wayne Dyer, and others, teach that we are not physical beings having a spiritual experience; but, spiritual beings having a physical experience. Indeed, we are spirits, walking through life, in avatar form, with the purpose of enjoying the game of life.

Like World of Warcraft, we need money in our game in order to enjoy it. God created a world where money is relatively easy to come by. You can find this clause in the rulebook (The Bible) in the gospel of Mark 11:24. Money is easy to obtain because it helps us to fulfill our purpose in life and better enjoy the game.

Seek Your Bliss At Any Cost

[ReviewAZON asin="1435723368" display="inlinepost"]After all, the musician needs lessons and an instrument. The aviator needs access to a plane. The lawyer needs money for training. The doctor needs money for training and equipment. The nun needs money to care for the poor in India.

Mother Theresa, whose life purpose and sense of joy came from helping the poor in the slums of Calcutta needed money. But, she never “earned” a dime of it. She simply prayed: Ask – Believe – Receive and it was provided to her.

Not everyone derives a sense of purpose or joy from living in poverty in the slums of India. Every Christian derives a sense of joy from being or doing something. There is no shame in this. God gave you those desires to motivate you to seek your bliss.

Sometime, the search comes with a financial cost. But, God provides the money to cover the cost; and, as a result, the Christian is able to make a difference in their lives, the lives of their family, their friends, their community and…..our world.

Finding Life Purpose in a World Full of Confusion

So how is finding life purpose going to benefit you and make your life improve? Don’t think it’s worth the effort? Think again…

By knowing what it is you’re here for, or at least, being able to read the messages that the universe sends you about finding life purpose in your life is a major breakthrough.

Have you ever been working at something, or talking to someone about a certain subject or doing a certain enjoyable activity and you’ve found that time stands still because you enjoy it so much?

Well that’s commonly known as the zone in sports, and in life it’s living with passion or findng life purpose. Once you have this beautiful area of almost meditative bliss in your life, where you go down through the quite and inside yourself to that special place, where doing what it is you love to do is literally making you better and better, rather than what most people experience with thier jobs, life and relationships, which tends to make them sicker and sicker of life.I mean who literally looks forward to Monday mornings, awake bright eye’d and bushy tailed, ready to take on the day with passion and flair?… Not many right?

And you can only guess how many would not be looking forward to getting up and going to a job, school or a role they dismally dislike.

Once you begin finding life purpose you will never feel bad about what it is you do again. I’m not saying there won’t be any trials or stumbling blocks in your life, as there most certainly will be, but instead of not looking forward to them, you’ll be welcoming them into your life with passion and enthusiasm.

Now finding life purpose for some is quite difficult and it doesn’t need to be, some of you might be thinking well it’s ok for you, because you’re already making good money online full time and that’s what you love to do, and yes it is, even more so I love to help people like yourselves find the resources and take action on implementing them into your lives, so you can be as enriched as I truly feel.

It’s not hard to find your lifes purpose, lets get down to some practical steps to really finding life purpose as it stands for you:

1. List on a sheet of paper what things you love to do in your spare time, without being paid to do them.

2. What do you do well, above anything else (there should be one outstanding thing).

3. What type of people do you mix with and or attract into your life on a consistent basis?

4. What patterns in your life do you find happen to you again and again?

5. How do you feel when your under pressure doing the things you love doing?

I ask questions like this, so you can begin to understand what makes you tick, what you would attempt if you knew you couldn’t fail and had unlimited money and resources, the personality of your dreams to get that particular thing done that you’d love to do.

If finding life purpose this way is still difficult for you, then you need to go a step further and go deep inside yourself.

I would recommend some meditation music such as Holysinc or Harmonic Ascension audios from their respective websites to take you deep down and put you in a creative state, the harmonic ascension audios are excellent for this purpose.

Once you hit this peaceful place after about 10 minutes just take you mind off the main focus and explore the realms of wherever your mind takes you… Relax…

This may take you hours, days, months or in my case years to find the one fun life purpose track that you desire, but once you find your life purpose and begin living it, putting action towards making it a reality, you will become addicted to how good it makes you feel.

It took me 4 years in finding life purpose for myself, but now that I have it, it becomes clearer and clearer and more fun each day.

Firstly I thought that I wanted to be an IT consultant and help people with their computers, then it was helping beginners on their new computers and I made many friends that way.

But over time a recurring pattern keet happening to me, and I was always drawn towards coaching people in a sales environment, and I enjoyed that even more, until I manifested a business doing sales coaching for people all around the world.

Then it went even deeper, I always found myself looking into peoples Psychology and what makes them tick, as well as the metaphysical and spiritual reasoning behind it… Until I finally arrived at my current position of life / business coach utilizing the 12 laws of the universe (not just that of law of attraction) and teaching this to people who are open to it, along with the 21 sub-laws.

This is a topic that I feel so happy in delving into, I can spend days writing on it and researching it, literally without eating much or doing anything other, it’s like I go into a world or universe of my own, it’s magic and bliss for me. And on top of this bliss I get rewarded with income from doing what I’m passionately in love with.

Now that’s finding life purpose to the enth degree and being completely and utterly fullfilled by it. And I know you can do the same, and it’s a journey that you need to be patient with, surrender to and “allow” it gently to happen, and it will.

If you’re puzzled about the purpose of life, the easiest way to figure out this challenge is to decide it’s time for you to seriously plan out your life’s true mission.

The number one reason for why most people are living without purpose is because they’ve never taken time out to think life through. Almost all people are struggling at careers or jobs they “fell in to”. Almost all people are living mundane, dreary lives without feeling the satisfaction they should be.

Almost all people are living with a deep feeling of trepidation or fear instead of tasting the true meaning of life to have fun.

That’s right, life is indeed supposed to be fun. Unfortunately, you may have learned along the way that you were supposed to be miserable all day long. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Let’s look at three benefits that come with realizing and living your Life Purpose. Then, we’ll take a look at three tips to aid you in beginning this process.

Your Personal Philosophy

The number one blessing to discovering your own purpose of life is that you determine your Personal Philosophy. Your Personal Philosophy comes down to how you judge life. It’s the paradigm through which you see the universe you live in.

This is where you write down the values, morals, and principles by which you will live by. There’s a magnificent difference in the Life Purpose of a person valuing honesty and integrity as opposed to the person who doesn’t mind lying and cheating now and then.

Like so many others, you may very well be living a life today that doesn’t line itself up with your Personal Philosophy. Does your job have you performing duties that go against your morals and principles? Have you let a friend, family member, or spouse to steer you in directions that have you setting aside your values?

Getting your Personal Philosophy solidified will allow you to make vital decisions quite easily from the paradigm of principles that you hold dearly.

Your Vision

As your Life Purpose comes clearly into focus, your whole life paradigm changes. Instead of existing in life “by accident” and hoping things work out, you now see clearly how each decision affects you now and in the future.

With your purpose of life mapped out, you no longer settle for anything that violates that purpose and vision. Imagine the difference in your caliber of life when you make choices based on ultimate truth rather than anything else the world may be suggesting you do.

Making a Difference

Since many people in today’s society are trapped in “exist mode”, they have relinquished all thoughts of “purpose” or living with “intention”.

However, when you resolve to finally raise yourself above this and work on yourself in order to experience your Higher Purpose, you’ll uncover that your discovery of your true reason for being alive will end up in a life where you make a difference to everyone around you.

Discovering your Life Purpose is magical. It comes with a sense of meaning. It allows you to effect positive change on a world in need of it. It lets you finally stop saying, “someday” and to begin living “now”. You help other people “now”… you make a difference “now”.

Look Within

Now that you’ve read about three of the many benefits you’ll get when you take the time to find your purpose of life, why don’t we take a look at three procedures that will help you along this journey.

The first thing you need to understand is that you’re not going to find the answers to your Life Purpose by searching outside of yourself. Just the opposite, this is when you must begin finding quiet time where you can focus within for the answers to your personal purpose of life.

This is a spiritual growth path as well as a personal growth process. You’re working on discovering about your inner self and the lessons this higher self can educate you about. You may want to invest time in learning about the many meditation methods in order to help you focus within.

Focus on Your Inner Child

Looking back at your childhood is an important aspect to getting to the purpose of life. There was a magical time at some point in your childhood when you saw life as magical, special, joyous, and amazing. This view of life had nothing to do with achievement or validation from others.

There was a time when you were filled with joy and wonder just for being alive. You want to get yourself back in touch with this place!

You can start this process by returning to everything you enjoyed as a child. Think through your interests, the games you loved to play, the hobbies you participated in, etc. Start thinking about everything that makes you joyous simply “because” and you’re getting closer to your personal purpose of life.

Write it Down

Something happens when you write down your thoughts. It becomes more real to you. It has a much larger effect on your mind than when you only think about it. Therefore, be sure to write down your innermost thoughts and feelings as you begin to focus on discovering your Life Purpose.
